I’ve got long hair so I know that during festival season I want a look that’s more sexy bedhead than tent tangles. With this in mind, I’ve come up with the hottest festival looks for 2013 that with a little help from Batiste are easy to achieve, look amazing and will make you totally festival fabulous.

Effortless Chic – this one is perfect for day 1 and works best on mid to long hair. With your head upside down, work a little Batiste Plumping Powder in at the roots and then gently lift narrow and random sections from the mid-length and ends and spray with Batiste Smoothing Conditioning Mist. Twist the sections gently around your fingers to smooth the cuticle and define the section. The result is a relaxed tousled look.

Scrape and sweep – lightly spray your hair with Batiste Smoothing Conditioning Mist through the roots and mid lengths and comb straight back from the hair line. Brush out the ends and dust with Strength and Shine for a little added grip. Sweep the hair into a loose pony and then loop back on itself, you can leave the ends dangling free or tuck underneath.

Quiff it – great for short hair but works well with longer looks. Work a healthy dose of XXL Pumping Powder into roots and ends and pull hair straight up. Back comb with the fingers at the roots through the crown and then spray a narrow front section of hair with Batiste Smoothing Conditioning Mist and comb cleanly over the quiff for a cool finish.

Side plait – the side plait is the ultimate get out clause, usually festival day 3! Simply spritz hair with Batiste Dry Shampoo (try one with a Hint of Colour!) and pull over one shoulder and plait loosely, the messier the better. To make sure it looks modern not school marmy, remember to plait right to the very end so you are left with a fine point.
